Window Replacement Central is a free information site that helps homeowners get windows quotes. This page explains, in plain English, what happens to the information you give us.
What we collect
- What you type into a quote form: your ZIP code and email address. We do not ask for your phone number, and we do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site.
- What your browser sends: IP address, browser user agent, the page you came from, and the date and time. We keep this to detect automated abuse and to understand which pages are useful.
- Analytics and cookies: we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure traffic in aggregate, and we set a small cookie so our quote links work correctly. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works.
Why we collect it and who receives it
We use your ZIP code to route your request to window pros who cover your area, and your email address to send you information about the quotes you asked for and occasional related guidance from Window Replacement Central. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
We share your request with third-party partners. When you ask for quotes, we connect you with lead-matching networks and windows advertisers who provide the actual quotes. Under some US state privacy laws this counts as "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information, even though no money changes hands for your data specifically. Those partners have their own privacy policies and their own contact practices, which we do not control. See our advertising disclosure for how we are paid.
We are not the service provider. Window Replacement Central does not perform windows work. Any contract, price, or scheduling is strictly between you and the independent professional you choose.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of that email.
- Ask us to delete your information, tell us what we hold about you, or opt out of having it shared with partners — email privacy@windowreplacementcentral.com from the address you gave us and we will action it.
- Opt out of analytics using your browser's cookie controls or Google's own opt-out tools.
We honour these requests regardless of which state you live in. Once your request has already been passed to a partner, we can remove it from our records but you may need to contact that partner directly to be removed from theirs.
How long we keep it, and children
We keep quote requests for as long as they are useful for the purpose above, and remove them on request. This site is intended for US homeowners aged 18 and over; we do not knowingly collect information from children.
